The Japanese “Bunduku” was made from iron and small in size, whereas Chinese kettles were more decorative and made from porcelain, in Singapore round bamboo kettles were used, the Russians used ceramic pottery with a mix of metal for kettles while the Kashmiri used copper ones. Metallic kettles were a common feature in the era gone by, which can be seen in the bronze kettles from Egypt to the embossed cast iron ones from Mongolia to the copper and silver kettles from Tibet.
